Conquest of Makkah: Mercy for the Worlds

In 8 AH (630 CE), the Prophet (PBUH) entered Makkah victoriously with 10,000 companions. He granted general amnesty: Go, you are free. No revenge, no bloodshed. The Ka’bah was cleansed of idols. The Prophet (PBUH) declared: Today is the day of mercy.
